Entrepreneurship
The Minor in Entrepreneurship can complement any field of study.
Gain the tools and skills you need to familiarize yourself with tasks such as market assessment, capital formation, business planning, effective communication, staffing, systems design, financial planning and operations management. The minor focuses on the research, planning, and strategies that are critical to start a new business, take over a family business, or quickly advance in your field. Open to all undergraduate students at UM-Dearborn.

BPS 441 can satisfy either Tier 1 or Tier 2, but not both.

ENT 401 can satisfy either Tier 1 or Tier 2, but not both.

ENT 403 can satisfy only one of the following Tier 1 or Tier 2 or Required Capstone Activity. If ENT 403 is used to satisfy the Capstone requirement, then BPS 441 and ENT 401 must be elected to satisfy the Tier 1 requirement.
The Certificate in Entrepreneurship is a flexible, 9-credit program that equips students with the tools to start and grow new ventures. Students complete a required course in entrepreneurial thinking and then choose two electives in new venture planning, social entrepreneurship, or business development. This structure allows students to tailor their studies to their career goals—whether launching a startup, creating a social enterprise, or scaling a business. Open to all current majors, the certificate provides practical experience in venture creation, business strategy, and entrepreneurial leadership.
